It is a common condition amongst our Facial Aesthetic Patients, including Lesley and her husband Chris.

Chris has kindly volunteered to help w

Meet the team

Welcome to Friday Folks.
We have been posting to our Blog for a few days now and thought that perhaps we should tell you a little bit about the team.

Meet Richard, he is our Dentist and Clinical Director; he has actually worked at the practice for over 20 years, albeit Synergy Dental Care has only existed in its current guise for a little over 2 of these years.
Richard qualified at the University of Birmingham in the class of 1990 and during the years since he qualified has attended many postgraduate courses. A Firm believer in preventative dentistry and that a health smile helps us lead a healthier and happier life, Richard is proud to be creating beautiful smiles in Biddulph.

Patients describe him as

Passionate About his work; Gentle; Reassuring; and Just Brilliant!

Outside work, Richard is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing hockey, cycling, running and yoga.

According to research 27% of adults only visit their dentist when they have a problem.

As the old adage goes prevention is better than cure and visiting the dentist regularly can not only identify dental problems before they start causing pain or discomfort but can also save you money in the long term by cutting down on unexpected bills.

Call us on  01782 513237 to find out how we can save you money.

We pride ourselve on always trying to go the extra mile for our patients.

Yesterday we have an extremely nervous new patient in for a couple of extractions, a member of the practice team sat with her offering support, reassurance an a little distraction. Spending time with the patient despite herself being due at a meeting across the city. Already late it was only when the patient was safely delivered to the dental team, did she leave for her meeting.

The dental team continued to offer reassurance throughout the patient’s treatment and today we called to see how she was.

We do all this because we genuinely care for our patients and try to make all treatments as comfortable as possible.

Dr Armishaw and the Dental Team are currently placing a Dental Implant.
Implants are an increasingly popular option for replacing missing teeth. They are placed in the jawbone rather like the roots of natural teeth.
Implants are an alternative to bridges and partial dentures, if you are a denture wearer and find that your dentures move around a lot, then implants will help anchor your dentures in place.
When teeth are lost the jawbone begins to shrink, im
plants can greatly slow this process down.
Whilst increasingly popular, implants are not suitable for everyone; you need to be medically suitable and have sufficient thickness of jawbone to accommodate the implant. If not a bone graft may be an option. We will be able to advise you of the suitability of implants for your needs and our initial assessment in FREE.
Costs start from £1,450 inclusive of custom abutment and crown.
